Steel stripper rings made of hardened alloyed tool steel are used for thin materials and the narrowest strips, provided the design of the slitting line permits such use.

Stripper rings assist cutting applications for various tasks: Ejecting, Conveying, Lifting (protecting the material surface), Supporting (stabilizing the material). 

Our stripper rings are available in:

●Vulcanized rubber to steel spacer (clad stripper rings)

●Single and dual durometer rubber snug-fit rings

●Tool steel

●Aluminum

●Phenolic

Spacers are introduced not only to keep a certain clearance between blades but also as a kind of way to adjust the horizontal gap between the upper and lower blades. They are usually made of S45C,S50C,65Mn,of which S45C is a common one.To make them lighter, we are able to make Aluminium (AL7075) spacers and pre-drilled metal spacer . We can also fit rubber sleeves onto the knife to prevent themselves being scratched, and rubber colors for easy identity . Lapping finish black oxide coating finish are available.

Finish: Precision ground finish, Mirror finish, Lapping finish available
